ZOE's TIME:

My 6 y.o homeschooled son was using the computer yesterday... Then I reminded him of his schedule.

Me: Zoe, tomorrow , we will review science , ok?

Him: yehey!!! Science!

Me: why are u happy?

Him: I love science!

Me: why do you love science?

Him: coz I get to learn about the seed, the water, and this and that... Blah blah blah! ( he said this while his face's glued on the screen, busy doing his thing)

Me: what's this and that, blah blah blah.

Him: u know it already, you're the one teaching me. Stop disturbing me, it's my time to play.

Ouch!

God Made Everything

We are teaching the kids the importance of reading... Reading aloud is one of the skills that Yanni needs to master. Yesterday, she was reading aloud to Zoe.

After reading....

Zoe: so, you believe that Jesus made everything?
Yanni: yes...
Zoe: so we came from sand, and Jesus put blood in it?
Yanni: No, we came from mama's tummy.
Zoe: huh? So He didn't make everything?

Caterpillar?

Zoe's daily conversation has gone on a different level... From his cute remarks, now to discovery and test of his own knowledge...

Like right now, kids are outside exploring...then I heard them (seems like they saw a different kinda worm)... Then came the debate...

Zoe: it's not a caterpillar... Coz he doesn't dig and doesn't find his way out.

Then the older siblings reasoned out...but he insisted ...

Zoe: caterpillar has to dig his way out...
